That's why we are so excited about Clos Saint Antonin, a property purchased by Isabelle in 2014, a short drive away from Courthézon where Domaine de la Janasse is situated With similar soils, elevation and aspect to it’s neighbor (Beaucastel), and treated in the cellar with the same care and respect, it’s no wonder that when tasted blind many would confuse this wine for Chateauneuf-du-Pape. A blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah from 30-50 years old vineyards, this cuvée is dominated by Grenache (80%) which is Isabelle's muse. Deep and rich, this is remarkable for the price.
