Ruby red colour with ripe red cherry and vanilla aromas. Notes of violets and rounder body compared to Barbera d’Asti Tre Vigne. On the palate it shows bright acidity, sweet tannins with balanced integration of oak. Good complexity and a lingering cherry finish.
"Year in and year out, the Tre Vigne Barbera delivers. This 2021 is loaded with ripe and macerated black cherries with sweet and savory spices wafting in and out. As the wine develops, earthy and floral aromas leading you into the mouthwatering palate showing tart blackberry, allspice and bay leaf, with bright acidity on the finish. Drink now–2035. "Notes of ripe plums and blackberries with dark spicy chocolate, moist bark and wet asphalt. Juicy and racy on the palate with medium to full body and vivid acidity. Tense with dusty tannins and a seamless, lengthy finish. Drink or hold." James Suckling, 92 Points
