A highlight in Wine Spectator's Insider, the Colene Clemens Dopp Creek is once again the most impressive Oregon Pinot Noir Under $30. Since 2005, Colene Clemens has been one of Oregon's top wineries, matching the elegance and terroir of Willamette's Chehalem Mountains AVA with classic aromas of rich red and black fruit, baking spice and a palate featuring a core of rich blackberry and blueberry preserves. Winemaker Stephen Goff, previously at Beaux Frères, has been in command since 2006, and has remarkably been the only winemaker they've had in 13 years. High marks for consistency as the 2014 & 2015 are Wine Spectator Top 100's and the 2017-2021 vintages are the top three scoring Pinot Noir's in the last four years.
"This expressive red is dynamic, yet retains a sense of elegance and refinement, showing pomegranate and blueberry flavors underscored by river stone and dusky spice accents. Builds tension toward lively tannins. Drink now through 2032." The WIne Spectator, 94 Points
