The most acclaimed old vines Zinfandel over the past ten vintages, Bedrock is a perfect example of everything we love about this full-bodied red. Crafted by 2014 San Francisco Chronicle Co-Winemaker of the Year and 100-point icon Morgan Twain-Peterson MW, Bedrock is a shining star on the boutique California wine scene. Growing up in the wine industry, Twain-Peterson is the son of Joel Peterson, the legendary Sonoma winemaker behind Ravenswood. No surprise then, that his son Morgan makes amazing Old Vine Zinfandel from some of the top vineyards in California. All-in, Morgan utilizes 22 different sites, mostly in small-lot quantities and his 2021 Zinfandel comes from sites with vines that top 130 years of age, including Sonoma Valley’s Teldeschi and Bedrock, and Contra Costa’s Evangelho. "Spry and briary, this Zinfandel is fun to drink, with lively black cherry, licorice and dried sage flavors, which take on richness and cracked pepper accents toward zesty tannins. Drink now through 2031." The Wine Spectator, 94 Points
