Home to the oldest wine estate in Napa Valley, the Saint Helena AVA produces some of the most sought after Cabernet Sauvignon in the entire world. Beringer, Freemark Abbey, Spottswoode, and Charles Krug are all making world class Cabernet Sauvignon here, and our Block Estate vineyards are found right next to them. Our Special Reserve St. Helena is characterized by classic Cabernet flavors of berries and black cherries layered with licorice and spice and a fleshy mid-palate. Careful attention is paid to vineyard blocks, which are kept separate and vinified with a goal of extracting maximum flavor. Full-bodied, with gentle masses of soft, enveloping tannins, it's a plush, generous Cabernet Sauvignon that's rich and concentrated, that you can easily drink over the next 10-15 years!
"This Cabernet Sauvignon from St Helena offers everything you would expect from this terrific sub appellation. Explosive dark, rich fruit flavors of cassis, wild berry, black cherry and plum combine with concentrated flavors of mocha, black licorice and cinnamon. Beautifully structured ending with chewy tannins." The Wine Buyer, 95 Points
