Not to mention some of the best white wines in the world are found in this unique region, Rias Baixas which lies on Galicia’s west coast. While the vast majority of the wines are produced from local cooperatives, Maior de Mendoza is uniquely an estate, and a benchmark producer for the region. Reminiscent of a Loire Valley Chenin Blanc, like a great Vouvray, these wines have a ton of personality and can only get more interesting with a little age.
