Laurence Feraud is one of the biggest names in Rhone wine, as her Chateauneuf-du-Pape's are dazzling and regularly top the Wine Spectator Top 100 list. Like all great Rhone wines, they can be a bit pricey. That's where Chateau Pegau comes in, a second label off-shoot project from her main focus at the Domaine. A few years ago, Laurence and her father Paul purchased a large estate, located just outside the village of Sorgues, that consists of 100+ acres of Cotes du Rhone and Cotes du Rhone Villages. A large but old vineyard, with vines averaging 50+ years. A blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah, and Cinsault is a classic for the Grenache dominant 2020 vintage, and a remarkable wine for the price!
