The Bousquet Family, who hail from the southern French city of Carcassonne have a prestigious wine making tradition. In the constant struggle to produce wines of a superior quality, Mr. Jean Bousquet was determined to find the best place to continue the family’s decades long tradition. In 1990 Bousquet first arrived in Mendoza to investigate the vineyards and wineries. Upon discovering the unique characteristics of the region, its soil, high altitude, and terroir, he was convinced he had found the ideal location for his winery. 25 years later, the wines continue to receive accolades from the international wine press making Bousquet one of the leading exporters of organic wines from South America.
"Attractive nose, showing racy currants and currant leaves. Some cocoa powder, too. Pure and bright. The chewy, dense tannins are very present for this vintage, standing out a little bit over the fresh fruit and bright acidity. That said, it will settle down in a year or two. From organically grown grapes. Better in 2023." James Suckling, 91 Points
