Crafted by David Hohnen of Cloudy Bay, he worked tirelessly to put the now famed Margaret River on the map, and created BDX as a partnership with Freya Hohnen and Rupert Clevely to bring French wines to Western Australia. Only a handful of cases were sold outside of Australia, and after trying samples, we bought every case available. Made with Cabernet Franc, the rose petal colored BDX is loaded with aromas of freshly picked strawberries and floral notes that match perfectly with the fruit and citrus notes on the palate. A perfect wine for the spring, Bordeaux Rose matches Provence for elegance and flavors, with a bit more richness, perfect for the beautiful, incoming weather!
