Free Mix & Match Case Shipping!

Crafting some of the highest rated wines in Washington State, Chris Camarda produced one of the top $40 Cabernet based blend we've ever tasted. Rated 91+ points or higher from 4 major wine publications at the release price of $64, we felt strongly about giving it a boost at our special price of $39.99 plus free shipping!

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the Two Blondes vineyard is Andrew Will's home estate in the Yakima Valley AVA. It's so named for Chris Camarda’s late wife, Annie, who was a 6’2” blonde, and their partner in the vineyard, Bill Fleckenstein’s wife, Melody, who is also blonde. The coolest site of the four vineyards they work with, the unique climate produces a rich, concentrated red that is surprisingly low in alcohol. A Cabernet lovers dream, this is a special bottle we highly recommend.

Rating
"Alluring aromas of red & black fruits are met by asoft, mid-palate supported by sophisticated, complex fruit. Notes of plums, herbs, cassis, and spice are framed by elegant tannins and lifting acidity. This is a tour de force from Andrew Will and an amazing expression of Washington State Cabernet." The Wine Buyer, 94 Points

"The wines excel here, with solid depth and richness, and surprising concentration. Made from 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc, the 2011 Two Blondes offers first rate complexity, as well as classic Cabernet character. Sweet red and black fruits, wild herbs, tobacco leaf and hints of violets are just some of the nuances here. The wine is medium-bodied, pure, focused and elegant on the palate. In short, it's a classic Washington Bordeaux blend to drink over the coming decade." The Wine Advocate, 92 Points

Also rated 91+ Point Stephen Tanzer, 91 Points The Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirits Magazine.

Wine maker notes
Wine & Spirits Magazine says that Andrew Will Winery is "America's best Washington State producer." Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, he lists only a few Washington wineries rated as "outstanding" Andrew Will is one of them, others being Quilceda Creek and Delille Cellars. Parker goes on to call Andrew Will owner and winemaker Chris Camarda "one of America's finest producers of Merlot," high praise for Chris and his small winery located on an island off the Seattle coast!
