"Rive Droite, Rive Gauche," translates to "Right Bank, Left Bank," and is so named for the fact that this Rhone wine is sourced from vineyards on both the right and left sides of the Rhone River. This delightful red blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault quickly became one of our top selling French reds, when it was introduced to The Wine Buyer last fall. For under $10, this silky and elegant red is just perfect for entertaining on these cold winter nights!

Wine maker notes
Les Vignerons D’ Estézargues is a co-operative winery in Estézargues, founded in 1965 in a small town located near Avignon. It is currently comprised of 10 growers with nearly 1,000 acres under vines in the Côtes du Rhône and its "Villages" Appellation. While most co-op wines are made in large batches and grapes from many different vineyards vinified together, Les Vignerons D’Estézargues is truly unique in that these growers produce their wine separately and make single cuvées from their best plots. On the heels of the single cuvée evolution, Les Vignerons D’ Estézargues began to practice natural winemaking and they are one of the only co-ops in the world to do so.

Great CDR, good by itself or with food. One of the best CDR values you'll ever find. I keep buying more.

Did not enjoy right out of the bottle. Decanted for two hours and it was very pleasant. Passed a couple along to family and they raved over the wine. I'd give it a 4 plus a point for value.
