With the purpose of satisfying all type of consumers, the Herdade of S. Miguel has been developing different types of wine, during the years. All of the types of wine reflect the quality and rigor, values that they promote in their work.
'Ciconia' is the Latin name for the white stork that has, as it main habitat in Portugal, the forests and woods of Alentejo.
Most of the storks migrate during autumn to Africa, and return to Alentejo in December to make their nests. In June, the storks fly for the first time, flights that will normally last 33 years. They procreate with the same partner during their lifetime.

| The wine posses a complexity of aromas that suggestred berries, with some toasted notes as a result of a short period in oak, that in combination with good structure of bark allows it the presentation of a very rounded and balanced wine in the mouth. |
| Technical notes |
Mechanically harvested and total de-stemming is performed on the clusters. Fermentation is done with controlled temperatures between 21C and 25C in stainless steel vats. Maceration before fermentation during a 48 hour period.
