One of our top selling, full-bodied California reds, the 2009 Guenoc North Coast Victorian Claret is a complex offering of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Don't be nervous if your are unfamiliar with Claret, it's simply a traditional English term used to describe the classic red wines from the Bordeaux region of France. A bit of California fun with some Bordeaux elegance, makes the Guenoc Claret 2009 one of our most popular full-bodied red wines.
Dark ruby in color, the wine has a wonderful fruity nose bringing on black cherry, plum, and blueberry aromas. Rich and soft on the palate, the hints of vanilla and nutmeg, from ageing in 50% American and French Oak, add to the complexity and the long smooth finish.
