Quinta dos Grilos is located in the small town of Tonda and produces quality wines since the mid-1990´s, with two-thirds of red grapes and one-third of white grapes of the Dão region. The wines produced in this estate are known for its quality and contribute to the recognition of a Dão sub-region (sub-region of Besteiros) with enormous winemaking potential. At this moment work is on the way to create winetourism structures, not only to taste and sell wines but also to get to know the surrounding sights.

Tasting notes

The color is an intense ruby. The aroma shows notesof red fruits like black cherry and raspberry. in the mouth it has an excellent balance between acids and tannins.
