Arrowood Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 750ML
Sku: 38533

“Winemaking is a unique process; it is both an art and a science. The creation of wine is dependent upon the land from which it comes, the weather and soil in a particular location and the winemaking techniques. Each individual at Arrowood plays an important role in creating our distinctive wines. It is due to the relationship between our people, our land, the seasons and the weather, that the wines we create belong in the company of the great wines of the world.” Winery Notes

Tasting notes
Rich, enticing and complex from the first swirl, this wine opens with aromatics of black cherry, black berry, toast, and crème de cassis. These notes gracefully introduce the palate with a harmonious blend of plump berry fruits, notes of cedar, and well integrated tannins on the long, lingering finish.

Rating

"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma Estates (Sonoma County) is an absolutely delicious wine that shows just how compelling Sonoma Cabernets can be. Rich, dark and powerful, the 2013 exudes notable depth in its dark stone fruit, savory herb, smoke, leather, spice and tobacco flavors. Drink this racy, intense Cabernet over the next decade or so." Vinous Media, 90 Points

Wine maker notes
We find that each growing season is unique, and 1999 was certainly no exception. The season kicked into gear with a long, cold winter, followed by a moderate spring. Bud break came in late March and early April, with bloom complete by mid-June. A cool, dry summer resulted in a rather late harvest, giving the vines extra "hang time" and allowing the grapes to reach optimum ripeness. The end results were wines with deep color and an excellent balance of fruit and tannins. Our 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County is such a wine
