Mionetto Brut Prosecco 750ML
Sku: 32894

Mionetto has been Italy’s foremost producer of Prosecco wines for more than 120 years. The winery was founded in 1887 by Francesco Mionetto in the small village of Valdobbiadene, located just north of Venice. On the steep hillsides of Valdobbiadene, the delicate Prosecco grapes found ideal soil and climate conditions. Eventually, Francesco’s grandsons, Giovanni and Sergio Mionetto, took over the winery in 1961 and began re-building.

The Mionetto winemaking tradition continues today under master vintner Alessio del Savio, who studied as Sergio Mionetto’s protégé for 10 years, and also under the esteemed Henkell Group, the most prestigious sparkling wine company in Europe.

Tasting notes
The Mionetto Prosecco Brut D.o.c has an intense fruity bouquet with a hint of golden apples. It is very dry, fresh, light in body and well-balanced.

Rating
"Some Champagne like finesses. Minerals, toast and real fruit tastes, especially apples and pears. A little bit of weight makes it especially good with food. Repeat Favorite!"-Wall Street Journal Best of the Best

"A bigger, toastier style, but the floral and citrus aromas aren't masked by the toast, creating a pleasant balance that finishes dry and clean. Drink by itself or as a base for your Bellini or Mimosa."-Wine Enthusiast 89 Points

Food pairing
This wine is perfect alone as an aperitif or as a delight- ful complement to appetizers such as prosciutto or mild cheeses. Excellent as a base for Bellinis and other sparkling wine cocktails.
