Wine Club Selection
This winery is a homage to its superb old Verdejo vines, which are planted using the traditional gobelet system. Situated on the left bank of the river Duero, the winery dedicates itself to the creation of truly great white wines, showing the greatest respect for its vineyards, planted nearly three decades ago near La Seca, an area considered to play host to some of the best vineyards in the region.
Eulogio Calleja, a highly experienced oenologist with an intimate knowledge of the viticultural potential of this region, is in charge of Bodegas Naia’s range of wines.

| "The 2010 Naia isalso 100% Verdejo but with 12% of the wine fermented and aged in French oak. This fragrant, medium-bodied offering displays enticing aromatics along with a round, smooth-textured mouth-feel likely due to its partial exposure to oak. It is a lovely, refreshing wine for enjoying over the next 2-3 years." The Wine Advocate, 89 Points |

| The wonderful Verdejo grape itself is reason enough for the existence of the Rueda DO. It is a somewhat rustic grape that has successfully acclimatized to the tough conditions found on the Castillian plateau. Verdejo typically produces wines of a greenish yellow, aromas of fruit such as pear, apple and grapefruit, bitter almond, aniseed and wild flowers. |
