Kenwood Vineyards was founded in 1970. The Vineyards are located on a beautiful, twenty-two acre-producing estate. The winery also produces wines from fruit sourced from some of Sonoma County’s best vineyards.
True to history, the winery is housed in the original winery buildings. Inside, the winery has been redesigned with winemaking versatility in mind. More than 125 stainless steel fermenting and upright oak tanks are used in combination with 14,000 French and American Oak barrels, giving the winemaker flexibility and diversity in production.
| Tasting notes |
| Intense aromas of cherries and black raspberries followed by subtle aromas of rose petals and spice; rich, full-bodied texture with a smooth, long finish.

| Wine maker notes |
| The grapes for this Pinot Noir were grown in
Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley viticultural
appellation. The Russian River empties into the
Pacific Ocean and serves as a channel for the cool
ocean fog to move inland from the coast. Kenwood
produces its Russian River blend from vineyards
located off River Road, where the soil combined
with the ocean’s cooling influence creates the ideal
conditions for growing Pinot Noir. Seventy percent
of the grapes were grown on estate vineyards. A
small amount of Syrah was added to the final
blend to supply additional body and complexity. |
| Food pairing |
| This refreshing, fruity Pinot Noir is wonderfully versatile on the table and can be served with a wide range of foods, including pork, chicken, lamb and salmon. |
