1. How do I know if my order was received?

When the order is received by us you will get an automated email receipt letting you know the items ordered and their total as well as confirming shipping and billing information. When the order is shipped you will receive an e-mail from FedEx with the tracking information.

2. How do I know if an item I ordered is out of stock?

If we find out that we cannot get more of an item you ordered (meaning vintage changes and real out of stock situations) OR it's going to take awhile to get something back into stock we'll contact you by email as soon as possible to let you know and offer you alternatives. So please, monitor your email for a few days after placing an order. It is not unusual for an order to wait 3 or 4 days before we can ship it out if we are out of stock.

3. Do presales and futures get charged when they come in or at the time of purchase?

All presales and futures are charged at the time of purchase. Since presales and futures are guaranteed orders we must confirm your commitment to purchase the wine. Having the presale paid in full ahead of time will guarantee the discounted presale price should it change at a later date.

4. If an item is on the website am I guaranteed to get the quantity I ordered?

Even though you placed an order for a case of XYZ Cabernet, we may not have a case left in stock. We don't want to limit your access to wines just because we ran out today; we get deliveries every weekday from different distributors. If we are out we'll make every effort to get more as soon as possible. Unfortunately, some small distributors will only make a delivery to us once a week so in some cases it can take a few days to get more in stock.

5. If I ship a bottle of wine to someone as a gift will an invoice be included?

If you place an order and a gift note is included there will be no invoice or bill included with the order. However, a packing slip will be included minus the prices of wine.

6. If I place an order today when will it be shipped?

Orders placed today are usually shipped by the next business day except for orders placed on Friday to Sunday. We often ship an order out the day after it's placed if everything is in stock. The only exception to this is that we cannot ship on Saturday and Sunday because our shipper does not accept new packages on the weekend.

7. Do you ship in extreme hot or cold weather?

We ship all year round. If it's too hot in your region when you place your order, we'll be happy to hold your wine until conditions are right for you to have it shipped. We offer this service at NO additional charge and will hold it until you are comfortable with your wine being in transit. To notify us of this, simply click the Add Special Shipping Instructions link on the last page of checkout and put your instructions in the text box or reply to your order email confirmation.

8. Can my package be left on the porch if no one is available to sign for my delivery?

There must be an adult at least 21 years of age available to sign because the shipment contains alcohol. If no one is available when delivery is attempted, there will be two more attempts made on consecutive business days. At this point you can contact the shipper to make alternative shipping arrangements after the first attempt is made. Should delivery fail on all three attempts, the package will be held at your local FedEx location for several days for pick-up and soon after be returned. In order for the package(s) to be re-sent or shipped to a more convenient location such as a business, we must recharge you for shipping. NOTE: It’s easy to change the shipping address before the box goes out the door but it's much more difficult to do so once it's in transit.If you decline to have your package reshipped we will refund you the cost of the wine minus a 10% restocking fee and the original shipping charges.

9. Do you ship to businesses or to a PO Box?

Shipping to a business address is encouraged if no one will be available at home to sign for the delivery. Please include the business name to ensure prompt delivery. We cannot ship to PO Boxes in any situation.

10. Do you ship outside the United States and what states do you ship to?

Currently we can only ship within the United States and we are subject to each individual states laws as well as the laws of New Jersey. At this time, we ARE NOT shipping to: AK, GA, HI, IN, KY, MA, ME, MD, MI, MT, NH, TN, TX, PA, PR, UT and WY.

11. How long does it take to ship from New Jersey to where I am?

Approximate estimations to East coast is 1-3 business days, to Midwest is 3-5 business days, and to West Coast is 5-7 business days.

12. How do I track my order?

Once your order is shipped you will receive an email from FedEx with your tracking number, which you can enter at FedEx.com to track your package.
